Join us at The Queen’s Head this December for a fantastic festive celebration. Christmas is a time to relax, have fun and catch up with friends and family, so why not do all of this over a delicious meal with us? With our festive guest ales, mulled wine and christmas treats, the Queen’s Head really does get that Christmas sparkle in the air!
Our 3 course Christmas menu has been carefully created by our talented team of chefs to include some new and exciting dishes alongside the traditional Christmas favourites.
Our Christmas menu will run from Friday 30th November to Friday 21st December 2018 alongside our normal menu.
Spiced carrot and lentil soup finished with lime & coriander crème fraiche and warm mini naan bread (v,gfo)
Honey glazed hot smoked fillet of salmon, wasabi & pea purée with pickled Asian slaw (gfo)
Local pheasant, port and juniper terrine wrapped in streaky bacon served with a toasted walnut & poached pear salad and Henllan bloomer (gfo)
Deep fried Perl-Wen Brie served with cranberry, clementine & ginger chutney and red chard with a balsamic glaze (v)
Traditional local roast turkey with chestnut, sage & apricot stuffing, pigs in blankets, duck fat roasted potatoes, honey glazed parsnips, buttered sprouts with pancetta and cranberry compôte
Wild mushroom, spinach and caramelised red onion wellington with lemon glazed carrots, sautéed herb potatoes, tenderstem broccoli and Diane sauce (vg)
Slow braised ox cheek with wholegrain mustard mash, sticky red cabbage, buttered greens and Conwy ale & pearl onion gravy
Pan fried fillet of hake with crispy paprika shallots and a tomato, chorizo & butterbean cassoulet (gf)
Venison and prune meatballs with a red wine, garlic and rosemary ragu, pappardelle pasta and crispy kale
Winter berry pavlova with whipped cream and kirsch coulis (gf)
White chocolate and raspberry tart with Parisella’s of Conwy black cherry and amaretto ice cream
Traditional Christmas pudding with rum sauce
Vanilla and cinnamon panacotta with mulled pear and an orange tuile biscuit (gfo)
Seletion of local Welsh cheese and biscuits with homemade fig & chilli chutney (gfo)

The pre-order is required no less than 14 days before dining. A non refundable deposit of £10 per head is required at the point of booking. Please return the pre-order form to email@example.com or pop it into the pub.
