We will be closing at 6pm (food service finishing at 5pm) on Sunday 22nd September, re-opening early December.

Our doors are temporarily closing whilst we undertake some well earnt TLC on the pub. With some new and exciting plans in place it will bring a new lease of life to the old girl. But don’t worry we love the rustic and quaint characteristics of the Queens Head just as much as you do so we wont be changing it too much but just more of a complementary refurb to expand and move our kitchen, as well as the addition of a garden room giving our customers more room to dine.

Keep an eye on the website and as soon as we have a re-opening date then we will get it on here.

Whilst we are closed then why not pop along to one of our sister pubs, The Cottage Loaf or The Snowdon in Llandudno or The Erskine Arms in Conwy.

We apologies in advance for any inconvenience caused and by all means drop us an email on if you have any questions.

Dining at The Queen’s Head

Here at the Queen’s Head our talented team of chefs are forever coming up with new and exciting dishes to put on the menu.  Amongst a delicious menu of pub classics of which they have added their own twists, you will always find a selection of seasonal specials and some exciting new things to try.  Not to mention our famous mouth-watering choice of homemade puddings and desserts.

ll of our food is sourced locally where possible to both support local business and also to showcase the fantastic produce that this area has to offer. We like to use seasonal meats, game, fruit and vegetables so that our menu stays fresh and we can offer dishes that you may not see on every menu.

Our menu is served all day seven days a week including our delicious roasts on Sundays.

Our chefs love to try out new dishes so the menu can change regularly. The below are SAMPLE MENUS and some of the dishes may differ from today’s menu.
