We don't have a set Christmas menu as such but instead will have lots of yummy festive specials on our every day menu throughout December for you to choose from.
Starters
Wild mushroom & truffle soup, with tempura garlic shimeji mushrooms (gf)
Pheasant & partridge bon-bons with port, cranberry & orange relish and parsnip crisps
Harissa roasted cauliflower, lemon, garlic & coriander hummus, tabbouleh and crispy chickpeas (vg)
Panko breaded goats’ cheese, mulled beetroot carpaccio, roast chestnuts, Bramley apple & date ketchup
Garlic & chilli shell-on king prawns in a Thai spiced seafood bisque with sesame prawn croutons (gfo)
Mains
Traditional roast turkey with a chestnut, sage & apricot stuffing, pigs in blankets, rosemary roast potatoes,
honey glazed parsnip & carrots, smoked chorizo buttered sprouts and homemade cranberry compôte (gfo)
Braised rolled beef feather blade, beef fat fondant potato, parsnip purée, fricassée of mushroom, baby onion & bacon with a red wine and thyme jus (gf)
Chermoula marinated salmon fillet, crispy potato and dill pavé, buttered spinach and harissa charred asparagus (gf)
‘Pork al forno’ braised pulled pork shoulder, in red wine, rosemary and tomato ragu with rigatoni pasta, parmesan, crispy sage and garlic and herb focaccia (gfo)
Roasted squash, chickpea, beluga lentil, spinach and pecan nut roast, rosemary roasted potatoes, carrot and swede ponch maip and ruby port and cranberry gravy (vg)
Desserts
Homemade traditional Christmas pudding, candied cranberries and rum cream sauce
Maple, cinnamon & ginger roasted pear, vegan vanilla ice cream and candied walnuts (vg, gf)
Warm chocolate fondant, rich chocolate sauce, Kirch soaked cherries and locally made milk ice cream
Spiced apple trifle, mulled cider-soaked sponge fingers, caramelised apple & mascarpone custard,
chantilly cream and apple crisp
Selection of cheese:
Snowdonia Black Bomber cheddar, classic stilton and Plasir de Roy French brie served with crackers, celery, grapes, quince jelly and bara brith

Large Party Bookings
